Two men die and one injured in Lockland crash
John F. Conley 35 a Big Four Railroad engineer from Hartwell is killed when the car he rode in with Clyde Jones 33 a Big Four conductor from Sharonville plunges over a ten foot embankment on Skillman road between Lockland and Eden Dale. Jones is seriously injured and taken to General Hospital with cuts to hands and scalp. The accident occurred as they were en route to Cincinnati from Sharonville and another car allegedly pressured them off the road. Conley’s body is taken to Vorhees undertaking in Lockland. This marks the seventeenth automobile fatality in Hamilton County that year.
