Admiral Victor Blue Dies on Train in Washington
Rear Admiral Victor Blue retired at sixty two died of heart disease on a train en route from Florida to Washington. He served in World War I with the British grand fleet and as chief of the Bureau of Navigation. He was commended by Admiral Beatty and King George VI and earned the SpanishAmerican War Suwanee medal. Blame Hijackers in Body Burning

TEXARKANA Ark Jan 22 A wrecking crew suffered three deaths and several serious injuries when a gasoline filled tank car exploded at Ogden Ark twelve miles north of Texarkana. Scott Sharp died minutes after the blast from burns caused by an acetylene torch used to clear wreckage. T A Sellers 35 of Texarkana and Amos Snow a Negro died later in a hospital.
