August Doerr a 44 year old factory superintendent at the Dubois Soap Company was found dead in his Cincinnati flat. Neighbors say grief over his wife Nettie Doerr’s refusal to answer a letter he wrote led to the self inflicted gunshot. A note reading Good-by to all was on the table.
