Three men died when a large cabin monoplane crashed in a farm meadow near Rural Grove New York while flying through dense fog. The victims were Raymond Henries of Buffalo pilot Edward M Pauley of Albany and George F Benedict of Peoria. The plane started from Mineola and was bound for Buffalo after a stop in Albany.
