In Sumner Florida an unnamed 69 year old Black man was shot to death after being held by a mob near Rosewood where three Black victims were slain. The death raises Rosewood casualties to seven as authorities report arrests and ongoing tension over the assault on a white woman and ensuing violence. Local officials and workers guarded the area while investigators search for leads and suspects.
