The Big Four and the Queen & Crescent will run a Pullman sleeper from Chicago to Jacksonville January 14 for American Public Health Association delegates meeting in Havana. Delegates travel from Jacksonville to embarkation point via Atlantic Coast Line. The Queen & Crescent schedules heavy traffic on the first and third Tuesdays in January with special round trip rates for homeseekers to Southern points. Extra equipment expected.

In 1904 the County Prosecuting Attorney’s office disposed of 204 criminal cases. Of these 133 persons were convicted, 58 were sentenced to the Ohio Penitentiary with aggregate 153 years, and 4 life sentences. Seventeen defendants got indeterminate sentences at Mansfield Reformatory. Twenty eight were found not guilty or acquitted. 43 cases ended with other outcomes. Offenses included burglary 55, robbery 22, forgery 8, larceny and embezzlement 438, cutting and shooting 19, pickpocketing 4, manslaughter 10, murder first 3, murder second 10, arson 3, miscellaneous 19.
