War Clashes in Omaha After Greek Quarter Bombardment

A mass meeting at Omaha city hall spurred a mob of about 1000 to march toward the Greek quarter to avenge Patrolman Lowery. Several Greeks were injured and at least eight people wounded as missiles flew, with fires burning a Greek boarding house. Two 15 year olds were hit by shotgun contents during the mayhem.
