George Busse brother of Chicago mayor accidentally shoots and kills Mrs. Lucius C. Tuckerman 32 in the Walton apartment building at 305 North Clark street. The revolver was being demonstrated to a maid when a misfire sent a bullet through a window into the Girard apartment. No arrests were made and the incident was ruled pure accident. Mrs. Tuckerman was visiting her father Brigadier General A. C. Girard.
