Two masked bandits rob saloon at Pearl and Ludlow
In a western style hold up two masked men entered Thomas Flemming’s saloon near Pearl and Ludlow streets before seven. They forced out the proprietor and a patron at gunpoint, robbed the cash register of 30 dollars, and fled with a whisky drink. A lookout guarded the front as the duo escaped toward the river. Police describe the bandits as the same pair suspected in a Hamilton raid that netted 41.50.
