In Walnut Cove North Carolina a farmer named D Lawson killed his wife Marie and six children after a blow to the head. Walter Schwarm fifty of Central Parkway district superintendent of the City Waste Collection Department was arrested last night on a reckless driving charge after his car allegedly crashed into several parked cars near 1922 Western Avenue. He collided with William Scheurmann whose car was at 5603 Carthage Avenue. Scheurmann fled the house when the crash occurred and both men argued. Schwarm was booked on the warrant after Scheurmann swore it out. Schwarm was examined for intoxication at General Hospital. doctors said he had been drinking but would not declare him drunk.
