In Findlay Ohio on December 18, Sylvester Davis six of Mt. Cory and H H Nye ten of Arcadia both Hancock County postmasters died suddenly. Davis collapsed at the Mt. Cory post office while distributing mail and Nye died from stomach trouble. Nye had served Arcadia postmaster five years and Davis six years leaving families.
