Hamilton Ohio December 9 County Clerk Charles Brunson sues the board of county commissioners and county auditor J E Brade to force transfer of funds to cover a salary deficiency in the clerk and deputy clerk offices. The petition notes a 40 percent shortfall under the last legislature’s salary law and fee bill, with $6500 in outstanding collections claimed for the clerk’s office.
August Everett, 78, struck by a Cl. H. & D. train at Tansen avenue Lindenwald crossing in Hamilton tonight. He is believed to be fatally injured.

The Stemming District Tobacco association sold its pooled crop of 21.3 million pounds in Henderson Kentucky. Four fifths of the crop had been fired and brought seven and a half tents per pound while the unfired portion brought seven cents per pound. The bulk was bought by Gallaher Company Limited and Imperial Tobacco. Other buyers included W Gead & Son Nosworthy and Argus. Delivery will begin in a few days.
In South Bend Indiana Theodore Roosevelt received 1000 acres from an admiral as a bequest, but a codicil shifted the bequest to his brother Charles W. Hall of Benton Harbor Michigan. Hall, long noted as a miser, left between 100000 and 204000 dollars in probate.
At Lodi on December 9 a car driven by Josh Yeargon, 70, and his wife, also 70, was struck by a freight interurban train. They were killed instantly and their 6 year old grandson was fatally injured. The boy died later tonight.

London reports that over two thirds or 460 members of the new House of Commons have been elected, leaving party standings nearly the same as at dissolution.
