Three hundred Cincinnati business men toured the new Cincinnati Rubber Manufacturing Company works at Norwood in a special train. Officials and guests saw mixing and vulcanizing, stock materials, and the factory’s two floors with modern machinery. The event highlighted rapid growth as orders topped 200,000 and projected annual business could reach 1,000,000 with expansion plans.

Confessions of Union Officials Admitted in Gilhooley Case

Cincinnati Gas Wins Big West Gas Lands Contracts

Contracts for natural gas from 250000 acres of oil lands in West Virginia Kentucky and Ohio controlled by the Germer Brothers were secured by Cincinnati Gas and Electric Company yesterday. A $10 million holding company is to be formed to pipe and sell the gas, with council action and inspections planned for the week.

William H. Reid, 64, cousin of Whitelaw Reid U S Ambassador to the Court of St. James, shot himself in a Mubray Robinson lumber yard alley. A note cited debts and a desire to be with all, the motive undetermined. He had been ill and living in Cincinnati after years of labor on a religious political economy book.
