Harmon Seeks Political Sage for Governor Secretary
Governor-elect Judson Harmon delays naming a secretary to the Ohio governorship as Democrats intensify a search for a man with political sagacity and election‑season influence. The move is tied to Harmon’s 1912 presidential aims and a push to strengthen party organization statewide. Prosecutor-elect Hunt, visiting the courthouse with Albert Bettman, outlines office reforms and supervisory plans for the prosecutor's staff. Arthur K. Fricke is named as assistant in Hunt’s office, with two more assistants to come. Duckworth Club officers announce a January 8 banquet.
