The frigate Constellation broke from moorings near Oceanview, and the schooner William Donnelly wrecked at Thimble Shoals Light with five crew lost. Dozens of vessels in distress. Willoughby Spit and Oceanview suffer major flooding and wreckage.
A Toledo reader sues the zoo for 3000 dollars claiming a zebra bit her finger after mistaking it for a peanut. The incident occurred at the city zoo prompting the action filed this week.
Miss Carrie Durfy sues in Common Pleas Court for 3000 damages alleging Walbridge Park on September 28 suffered a vicious crebra attack that leaped a weakened fence and bit off the middle finger of her right hand, injuring her trade abilities.

Alexander, 65, married, was arrested in Providence yesterday.

In Sacramento California the body of ten year old Margaret Millings was found in a German Lutheran Church basement after being strangled with a cord. She had planned to meet friends to sew doll dresses for Christmas. Church janitor David Fontaine was arrested.

Indictments hinge on confessions from Barney Bertsche and the Ryan brothers who ran clairvoyant parlors defrauding victims for tens of thousands.
