Death of Henry Ketter Prominent Local Democrat

The body was sent to his home, with relatives S Stueve and Carl Milkly. An inquest will be held today.

Traction Wreck Injures Many in Dayton Suburb
In Dayton Ohio on December 3 a Dayton and Xenia traction car ran out of control on a steep hill east of the city and overturned at a curve. More than twenty persons, mostly women from Xenia, were injured and taken to Dayton hospitals. Several reported possible fatalities include Mrs. R. A. Wenzel, Mary Rowan, Mrs. Charles Spindell, Mrs. John Godfrey, and Mrs. George Jeffries.

A west bound Clover Leaf passenger train ran into an open switch in Kokomo Indiana and crashed into a freight engine. Both locomotives were demolished and several people were injured. W. L. Bogan of Toledo Ohio suffered a broken left shoulder and crushed left side and may die.

Black bear enroute to President from Mobile
In Birmingham on December 3 a black bear shipped by Haas Brothers of Mobile is bound for Washington to Theodore Roosevelt. The animal, about a year and a half old, appears fat and was killed in Southern Alabama. The bear should reach Washington by Thursday noon.
