A U S private Caine of Troop B Ninth Cavalry was fatally wounded by a shot from Mexican lines during the Naco siege. Four Mexican children were injured, bringing total U S casualties to forty one. Villa forces push trenches as a larger push toward Hermosillo looms with Obregon led units advancing from Sinaloa. Local cattle raids cross the border, with Hereford stock losses attributed to Maytorena’s camp and Yaqui Indians. Maytorena promises compensation and investigation.

The Cologne Gazette prints Carl Hans Lody's letter from the Tower of London dated the day before his execution for espionage. He writes of faith, duty, and dying for Germany, claiming he will be shot in the Tower and praising a just treatment as an officer rather than a spy.
The Luxemburg government announces that Germany has paid 1 280 000 francs for field and crop damage and 311 000 francs for road use and street and building damage caused by German troops.
