Foraker Dies After Long Illness in Cincinnati Home
James R. Foraker aged 52.8 a long time sufferer and brother of Senator Joseph B. Foraker died at his Cincinnati residence at the corner of McMillan and Hemlock streets Walnut Hills after months of cancer of the face. He had undergone surgery in Philadelphia in October 1906 for cancer of the right nasal protuberance and upper lip but the roots were too deeply imbedded to remove. He returned to Cincinnati in late February and fell ill again, with doctors Edge and D. T. Vailg attending him.
