Flames Destroy Tobacco Stocks Near Kirksmansville
A barn stable and toolhouse on Walter Meacham’s farm near Kirksmansville burned last night in a blaze believed to be started by incendiaries. Two mules two horses and some tobacco were destroyed. Loss estimated at 2000 dollars. Policeman Denton brought bloodhounds but failed to locate the attackers. Meacham is a Farmers' association member and says personal enemies rather than tobacco troubles caused the fire.

Liberia mission set for departure from New York
