Harry Frei, abducted sixteen years ago from Des Moines, Iowa, has appeared in Knoxville. He is 26, an heir to about 125000 dollars and wired his father in Marion, Ohio, who replied to come at once. Frei, a tailor, had been sent to Harrisburg after his mother died and has since traveled the East, Middle South. He left Knoxville tonight for Marion.
The Hokushin Maru and Kitami Maru collided off Ofuyu Cape in Toshio Hokaido March 30. Hokushin Maru sank soon after, with thirty six on board drowned. Kitami Maru headed for shore and grounded in shallow waters.
