McIntire 33 son of Theodore E McIntire of Shadyside Wheeling Virginia was killed when his car rolled over breaking his neck.
The Dawes committee led by Brigadier General Dawes has completed a draft of its report on Germany’s economy and finances, with experts in agreement in principle. Differences between British and American members were noted, and the plenary session is planned for tomorrow morning. The Reparation Commission postponed public release while drafting continues.
Berlin April 6 The German Chancellor Dr Wilhelm Marx said in an address at Barmen that the government would conscientiously study the Experts' Committee report to see which treaty obligations Germany can realistically meet. He warned against Nationalist plans and stated Germany will bear treaty burdens only within its capacity while using its economic strength. He urged restraint toward French Premier Poincare and warned against provoking France with a strong army.
Halton P. Siddall a 26 year old dental student stands trial for first degree murder in the slaying of Juan Mazzola 28 a Panama native. Siddall admitted to killing Mazzola after a disparaging remark and dumped the body in a creek. Police recovered a diamond linked to Mazzola from a pawn shop and identified Siddall as the seller. The morning will focus on selecting 75 prospective jurors with a defense promise of a surprise without details.
A dispatch reports two American merchants were murdered on the Tirana Scutari road forty kilometers from Tirana in Albania. The Albanian Government says it has taken energetic steps to locate and punish the killers.
