New York April 5 The Commission on Revision of the Book of Common Prayer proposes removing the promise to obey and the bride’s giving in marriage from the ceremony. The report suggests making vows identical for man and woman and omitting the brides pledge, with various other changes and additions to prayers and services. Fed reduces rediscount rate to 4 1/4 percent in St. Louis
St. Louis April 5 a reduction from 5 per cent to 4 1/4 per cent in the rediscount rate of the Federal Reserve Bank here was announced for all classes of paper and maturities effective tomorrow.
