Tragedy Ends With Double Death In Ohio Auto
In Columbus Ohio on April 3 Edward A Welsch 43 auditor of Gwynn Millitky Company and Eleanor Porter 28 stenographer were found shot dead in a car along Johns town pike near New Albany. Coroner John Murphy ruled murder and death by own action stating Welsch shot Porter then killed himself. Welsch married with two children had been separated from his wife since last July. Porter was shot twice with Welsch one wound to the head. Bullets shattered car windows. The shooting is believed to have occurred about midnight. Neighbor Walter Alrey heard a barking dog at midnight and found the car and bodies this morning.
