Six Cincinnati post office cases led to five dismissals. Names Stein Monfort Stegner and Buchanan appear among the accused in a brief courthouse proceeding.
The U S grand jury convenes for the April term with former Money Order Office cashier Robert W Buchanan among the first summoned. Officials say no other mail department personnel face proceedings.
Mayor Brand Whitlock and Mrs. Pauline Steinem welcomed the National Council of Women in Toledo as speakers urged an equal standard of morals for men and women. Mrs. May Wright Sewall of Indianapolis conveyed greetings from the International Council of Women and outlined its propaganda.
Former Dahomey monarch Behanzin, exiled to Martinique after Dahomey fell in 1894, sailed to Bordeaux aboard the Martinique. He has been granted permission to reside at Blida, Algeria, while his son died in the Mont Pelee eruption of 1902.

Earlier dynamite had been used in an attempted attack on the Frankfort Hotel on Ontario street and Prospect avenue. Ten feet of fuse were connected, but the fuse burned only an inch before flickering out.
