In Tlaxcala 400 rebels were driven back by Federals under Colonel Cels Aguilar with over fifty rebels killed. A Federal force led by General Rubio Navarette was ambushed near Santa Cruz, leaving around seventy rebels dead and twenty Federals killed. Rebels also looted San Dionisio in Puebla.
