A Panama railroad wreck last night left one man dead and several trainmen injured. The event occurred near Issacleet as crews worked to clear the line.
Four cousins of Vanderbilt Jr filed a complaint seeking recovery of funds from the $10,000,000 estate of Caroline D. Fair. The action alleges conspiracy by Mrs. Vanderbilt to defraud the plaintiffs.

Police believe she was assaulted and an attempt to destroy evidence by burning her alive. She is in critical condition at the hospital.
