Organizers of Rural Heritage Days at the Highway 130 and Piper Road site urge spectators to bring cash as no ATMs are on site. A $250000 FedNor investment and a $260000 Thunder Bay CEDC grant support the Trowbridge Forest and Shuniah Mines trail expansions. The Blacksheep Mountain Bike Club plans year round use, host Canada Cup this weekend, and grow Thunder Bay as a recognized cycling destination with new gravity and playground areas and 30 km of trails plus five more.
