Light wildfire season trend continues in Thunder Bay area

The Ontario AF FES reports no active fires in the Thunder Bay fire management sector as of Monday. The nearest blaze is Kawashkagama Lake, about 265 km northeast, currently 0.1 hectares and not under control. Across the Northwest, about 25 wildfires burn while most are observed. The agency urges caution with outdoor burning and promotes composting or landfill disposal for debris.
