Trump Uses Full Metal Jacket Clip in Campaign Video
The Associated Press reports Donald Trump is using clips from Full Metal Jacket showing Gunnery Sgt. Hartman to portray a hardened military image and mock the Biden administration’s LGBTQ stance. The video contrasts boot camp brutality with pro LGBTQ scenes and ends with Let’s Make Our Military Great Again. Vivian Kubrick suggested her father would approve, while co star Matthew Modine condemned the use as propaganda.
