Hentges, C H Porter, Jos Armburger, Geo Miller, and Dr. McGregor sending fish to Teton river areas and lower Spring Creek with plantings planned on Route Creek and Sun River headwaters supported by Oscar Olney. Ten cans arrived on Thursday via Milwaukee.

Teton County Schools Earn Extra Prizes at State Fair
Teton county schools won five ribbons and five exhibits at the state fair last week. They added a first place for a furnished doll house crafted by a Spring Valley student, a second place red ribbon for a second class grade school exhibit won by Mr. Ray, and a red ribbon for a general school exhibit. Lewis and Clark county also took a first place in this event.

Public School Notes and PTA Meeting Update
The PTA met Monday evening October 2 at 8. The plan to reduce dust includes sand and sawdust under the stride. Curfew now 9 pm and after six pm activity on grounds is prohibited. First and second grades earned fifteen monthly certificates. Six students tardy. Fifth grade finished a product map of South America. Gordon Campbell Plans Drill on Little Muddy Structure
Gordon Campbell will drill a well on the Little Muddy structure near Chateau, using a rig as soon as operations start. He has leased about 20 000 acres mapped by him and has four wells drilling in the northern field. Campbell establishes Choteau as his headquarters with offices in the Bair building.

Montana Brewing Co Fined in Prohibition Case
The Montana Brewing company of Great Falls pled guilty to four counts in a federal information charging violation of prohibition laws. Judge George M. Bourquin fined $1 500 and costs. A civil injunction restraining further violations was granted but dates for a permanent injunction were not fixed. The case was led by John T. Metcalf and H J Fitzpatrick with supervision by U S district attorney John L Slattery.

Foulkes of the Commission company notes $6,000,000 in ready cash will enter Montana in two weeks from Montana sheep shipments. About 60,100 lambs valued around $6 each will be sent mainly to Nebraska and Colorado for feeding, with 10 state routes involved. The movement is aided by several prominent sheepmen and continues through October 20. Also, Chateau installs a new electric fire siren estimated audible up to 3 miles, sometimes 15 with wind, aiming to improve response time for the local volunteer department.
