High School Notes and District Tournament Report
The district basketball tournament at Great Falls on March 1 and 2 produced a winsome finish with Great Falls taking first place and Teton and Ft. Benton tying for second. The team earned a state tournament invite to Livingston after returning Monday evening.

Lelia Adamson has been ill. Red Cross workers from Bole visited Cordova auxilary. Dr J M Davis, recently operated on, returned home improved. Iver Lestrud went to Choteau. The Teton county board reports a note of appreciation from General Crowder for teachers of Chateau who prepared occupational cards for over 2,400 registrants. Death of George Simonds Hall at Chateau Mont
George Simonds Hall born Fayette Iowa September 14 1901 died Chateau Mont February 18 1917 of a nervous collapse after appendicitis operation. Funeral services were conducted by Rev George Heizer at the M E church with interment in the Choteau cemetery.
