Summer Tillage 3 a Success in Montana Report
The Montana Development Association reported a successful meeting at Helena Placer Hotel. Seventy seven summer tillage clubs enrolled 4093 farmers with 217000 acres signed to plant winter wheat next fall and spring wheat in 1923. Prizes include railroad cash gifts and 33 agricultural implements from eastern manufacturers plus cash awards.

Mann Act Case 8 Dismissed in County Release
David Jerome Goodell and Almond B Wells were released from county jail Wednesday morning by sheriff orders after federal authorities held them since April 20 for alleged Mann Act violations. They left Newburg Oregon with Iva Brown and Margaret Moore posing as married couples, and were arrested at local ranches Coffey Wallenstein Hodgskiss two miles south of the city.
