A 1912 bond issue funded $100 000 for county roads and bridges. The Choteau commission ers allocated funds to projects near Chateau and Conrad, drawing criticism for limited local impact. A list shows $349 450 spent with debts not aiding roads within 20 miles of the county seat.
Morton B. Dodson of this city is hired by the Cascade County Good Roads association to map two automobile routes to Glacier Park. One road will go Glacier Park via Choteau Conrad Walier Browning, the other via Choteau Bynum Dupuyer The Mission and Two Medicine River. Road stakes will be five miles apart to support signs donated by Louis Hill. Initial stakes will start at the courthouse corner with a few more along city streets to the bridge.
Bollerud of Burton beach and Miss Clara M. Davidson of Farmington quietly wed in Helena on Wednesday June 3. The couple, longtime local residents, will reside in Farmington and members of the community extend hearty congratulations.

Special agents warn Montana merchants about the envelope trick used in stores and banks. A suspect asks for a small bill in exchange for silver, pretends to place it in an envelope, counts silver, then shortcuts the cashier by gifting the envelope and fleeing with both bill and silver.
Final day attendance at the Montana Federation of Women's Clubs meet in Boulder Hot Springs set a record.
