Car overturns on Park to Park highway injures two men
J. T. Newlin of Great Falls and Earl Sullivan of Butte, representatives of Transcontinental Oil, narrowly escaped fatal injury when their Dodge overturned north of Richards ranch. Newlin suffers a broken collar bone, severe back bruising and three broken ribs. Sullivan has minor injuries. A rear tire blew, pinning them until Elmer Genger found them and helped Sullivan release, while others summoned aid.

Robert Sturgeon thirty years old and longtime resident near Chateau died by self inflicted gunshot at the Cash Meat Market. Coroner and sheriff deemed it death by own action after brief investigation. he left $520 in cash on his person. He is survived by parents and five sisters and was given a private funeral at 10:30 in Choteau with burial in the local cemetery.
