Fort Worth reached 78 degrees the warmest Christmas on record while Kansas City posted its warmest Christmas at 10 degrees above normal. Burglar Misses Post Office. Youth Is Taken In
The Ray Porter store in Bynum was burglarized last Monday morning. Entry was made by breaking the post office window. Clothing items including shoes and a mackinaw vanished. sheriff and deputy pursued the trail and arrested 19 year old Jessie Cline on Tuesday. She pled guilty before Judge DeHaas and was bound over to district court.

Red Cross Mews Notes Highlight Local Christmas Aid
The local Red Cross chapter distributed boxes of candy fruit toys and clothing to 35 families totaling about 135 people. Miss Nagle thanks donors and Chateau and Fairfield ladies for their help. A second fruit box went to sick men at Fort Harris son. Donations of second hand clothes are urged at the Red Cross room in the courthouse.
