Senator Myers entered Garfield hospital in Washington to treat a stomach ailment. He may undergo a minor operation and expects a two to three week hospital stay.

Funeral of Schuler M. Corson
The funeral for the late Schuler M. Corson was held last Friday at the Methodist Episcopal church with Rev. Percy Reed McMahan delivering a sermon titled God with us the secret of success. He is survived by two brothers I S Corson of Seattle and Byron Corson of Chateau a wife eight children and one son from a prior marriage. Corson was a pioneer Northern Montana newspaper man who edited papers at Sun River Choteau and led the Choteau Montanian, leaving a lasting impact on Choteau and Teton county.

Quick Work by Teton Officials Sends Johnson to Deer Lodge
Robert Johnson a colored man was brought from Conrad on Friday charged with stealing diamonds from a colored porter. He pleaded guilty and, within minutes, waiving the sentence delay, was sentenced by Judge Ewing to 18 months hard labor at Deer Lodge Penitentiary. Sheriff McKenzie and six others were also given penitentiary terms and Johnson joined his family party en route to Deer Lodge at state expense.
