One Man One Woman Plead Guilty On Drug Possession
Fairfield woman Lorna Bond 26 pled guilty to felony possession of marijuana in District Court at Choteau before Judge R D McPhillips. Rory Gebhart 18 of Chateau pled guilty to hashish possession and received a one year deferred imposition with probation plus a $100 fine. Trials for Mike Immerman Randy Morris and William Maute with Rita Maute were scheduled for September.

Tom Evensen of the Choteau Airport Commission says the federal grant for resurfacing the runway is financed by gasoline tax on aircraft. A one cent per gallon tax funds airport improvements, with recent work including the cross wind runway built largely by volunteers and local pilots. The dirt runway has no asphalt plans.

Pool Festival Set for October Sixteenth by Lions Club
