Marie O'Hare Funeral Rites Held Saturday
Funeral services for Mrs. George Marie Louise O'Hare 75 died Sept 8 in a Helena nursing home were held Saturday Sept 10 at Burns Funeral Chapel Choteau with Rev Gene Pierre officiating. Interment was in Choteau Cemetery. She was a Choteau resident for nearly 50 years and survived by daughter Ruth Van DeRiet and three sisters in Washington and Oregon.

Punt Pass and Kick signup under way in Choteau
Choteau area youths aged 8 to 18 are invited to join this year’s Punt Pass and Kick event on October 1 at Choteau High School football field. Sponsored by Choteau Ford Sales and organized by the Choteau Jaycees, with Jack Conatser in charge. First place in the six age groups advances to the zone competition in Shelby on October 15 after registering at Choteau Ford Sales to receive the PP&E Tip booklet.

Lincoln couple murdered at Evergreen cabins near Fairfield
Kenneth and Marion McLean former Fairfield residents were killed near Evergreen Resort ten miles from Lincoln Montana last Tuesday. Three suspects from Lincoln Nebraska were arrested in Pendleton Oregon on Saturday for deliberate homicide. Funeral services for Marion were held in Fairfield with a large local attendance.
