Highway action eyed for Pendrey-Conrad road extension
A Conrad delegation led by Lion President E F Wyse met Montana Highway Commission in Helena to seek extending Highway 33 east and northeast from Pendrey to Conrad. The 20 mile link would connect Glacier Toole Pondera and Teton counties, improve travel for business and tourism, and align with long standing highway goals. The group presented a map and petitions with 1000 names, and the commission suggested possible inclusion in the 1939 1940 program if funds and debentures permit.
