Chateau Hospital Relocates To Old Bateman Property
Chateau Hospital has moved into a new location on South Main Avenue after removing equipment from the old site. Ownership has shifted from Dr HW W Bateman to Mrs CC T Wood and her two daughters who will run the hospital with modern facilities. The building has been renovated with a glassed-in sun porch and a large yard, and Mrs Wood and her daughter are already serving patients and transferring those from the previous hospital.

Foot Narrowly Survives Great Falls Chateau Highway Crash
L. S. Foot of Burlington North Dakota 70 escaped death when his house car overturned after a head on collision with Vaughn bridge railing near Vaughn. He sustained cracked ribs and a cut head. The improvised house on a Ford truck carried two Shetland ponies. ponies remained uninjured aside from a scramble during the crash. Foot was taken to Chateau for medical aid. The vehicle ended up down an eight foot embankment but injuries were not serious.

Aged Father of Choteau Man Dies in Montana Home
William Warner aged 86 father of Mrs. Harry Adams of Choteau died Sunday August 26 at the Montana Soldiers Home in Columbia Falls after a long illness. Early Montana pioneer who traveled via the Missouri river and arrived at Fort Benton, he helped establish the region as river traffic declined. Mrs. Adams was with him in Columbia Falls on his death day and had visited during his illness.
