Approximately 145000 in parity payments has been distributed to Teton county farmers who adhered to wheat allotments under the 1941 Triple-A program. W H Wellenstein, chair of the county committee, notes most applications are in. Full parity payments require planting within the farm allotment with the 1941 program applying 10 cents per bushel plus 8 cents from agricultural conservation, aided by 85 percent parity wheat loan support.

Cub Pack 51 members are asked to meet Friday evening at 7 p m in the Legion Club room to complete registration for the next year. The clerk of court records foreclosure of mortgage action filed by First National Bank of Fairfield against Herman Arps. Attorneys Church and Jardine for plaintiff. Also filed, Gottlieb Depner Gustave Depner Jr Louie Depner John Depner and Emil Depner versus Gustave Depner damages.
The speaker warns that during a medical attack or incident one should stay near an available doctor or hospital to ensure timely care. The remark emphasizes proximity to medical help as a safety precaution.
Twenty four relatives gathered to honor Mr. and Mrs. A Rowland of Bynum marking their 60th anniversary. The couple, residents since 1900, have four living children Elmer Homer Rowland and Mrs Orlo Stansberry of Bynum May King of Walter plus Emma Blyth of Phoenix Theos Bristol of Miami Frank Rowland of Spokane and Vern Crawford of Elk. They boast 35 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren. Mrs Rowland is 77 and Mr Rowland 87 both in good health.
Queen Rebekah Lodge No. 31 invites members for an official visit by Mrs. Alice Dodge, with a banquet at 6 30 and the regular lodge to follow at 8. The event occurs Friday, November 7.
Mr and Mrs E R O Neil and their sons Danny and Bobby returned to Chateau after a three week automobile trip in the east. They visited Detroit West Point Niagara Falls Rockefeller Center Radio City New York City and PhiladelphiaPittsboro noting a coincidence with John Fox of Chateau and Augusta at Radio City. They enjoyed the trip but were glad to return to Montana and Choteau.
Circle C announces a November 8 serving of doughnuts and coffee in the club rooms starting after noon. Further particulars will be provided next week.
Teton county high gridiron squad travels to Conrad hoping to clinch the divisional crown. Choteau remains undefeated in divisional play with a shot at the undisputed title, while a loss could trigger a three way playoff with Shelby and Conrad.
Mayor Henry D. Robison urges all citizens to join the Defense Savings program to the limit of their ability and work with the county defense savings committee chaired by Arnold Hanusa. He calls every organization to hold at least one meeting during November 2–8 to discuss methods to prevent inflation.

The couple planned a short wedding trip before future plans in Choteau.
The Chamber of Commerce announces the winter season opening dance for Armistice Day night November 11 at the Legion Pavilion. The Royal Kings of Rhythm will provide music as heat installation is due to be completed in a few days, enabling better use of the entertainment center.
