In Teton County 3360 residents are registered for the special general election to choose delegates to the constitutional convention. Statewide electors total 300273 with 15623 more than the September primary. Polls open 8 am to 8 pm, with some precincts 1 pm to 8 pm.

Antler Robber Pleads Guilty in Choteau Bar Heist
James Burt Dieziger pleaded guilty to armed robbery and two counts of grand larceny before District Judge R D McPhillips. He admitted involvement in the Sept 13 Antler Bar holdup in Choteau with about $1800 taken in a stolen pickup. Dieziger, jailed since Sept 28, was to be sentenced Nov 5. He wrecked the pickup near Chateau, rode to Great Falls, bought a car in Portland, and was stopped during a Havre bar attempt. Also, Mel Keeley of Great Falls was sentenced to four years for fraudulently issuing checks at Dutton.

Hans Anderson Funeral Rites Held Saturday
Funeral services for Hans Anderson of Chateau were held Saturday October 23 at Trinity Lutheran Church with Rev. Marlow Engberg officiating. Anderson died October 20 and services were directed by Zwerneman Mortuary. Burial was in Chateau city cemetery. Survivors include his wife Hilma Nelson and seven children plus grandchildren and a brother. Memorials are requested to Trinity Lutheran Church.
