The board met in regular session at 10 a m with Chairman Radcliffe and Commissioner Savory present. Absent was Dan Ledgerwood. September salaries of county officers and deputies were approved, and cemetery land blocks were purchased for county use. Afternoon session moved a county road and bridge, audited claims, and adjusted assessments for several taxpayers. State examiner reports were filed. next meeting set for October 10.

A new Knights and Ladies of Security council was instituted at the Odd Fellows hall in Choteau with 44 charter members. Officers elected include President R J Bonin, Vice President H J Loomis, Treasurer Julia Emerick, and Secretary Erma Parker, all installed by C Wolffsen and his wife. The group aims to double membership by January 1.
