A 31 man group from the third contingent is to depart Chateau by 2:00 PM Sunday and travel to Camp Lewis on Monday. Obituary of Jacob L. Otness Eight Children Noted

Jacob L. Otness aged 80 died Monday at 9:00 PM in Conrad hospital. Born in Norway he arrived 1873 in Minnesota and moved to Montana in 1897 settling at Miles City then Tech county near Farmington. He leaves eight children including L J Otness and J J Otness of Farmington Ed Otness of Brady and several daughters. Funeral today at 2 o'clock at Farmington with Rev. Evelle. interment in Choteau cemetery.

Freshmen lead the race by fifty percent over rivals. The janitor misread the lyceum date and set chairs for Saturday, then learned the lecture is Monday.

Jubilee Octet to perform at Farmington church Friday

The Jubilee Octet will tour Montana for the Re formation Quadricentennial and sing at the Norwegian Lutheran church in Farmington on Friday November 2 1917 at 8 PM.
