The Teton County Farm Bureau annual banquet closed a day of events starting at 9 30 in Lions hall with K E Sturgis as master of ceremonies introducing past officers and guests Ted Sorenson John Robison Lloyd Pedersen and D B Crane. The morning session drew about 20 farmers and Ted Skelton was elected president. The Farm Bureau quartet with Mrs Marge Hanusa sang several numbers and Max Mayberry was praised as a pioneer. George Diehl spoke of bureau goals and a Chicago trip anecdote about Russia. W J Hagen of Billings entertained and urged farmer cooperation.

Cleve Watkins Dies in Augusta burial set in Bertha Minn
Cleve Watkins 61 of Augusta died last Thursday at his home. Born August 7 1894 in Pine Island Minnesota he was World War I veteran and a farm laborer. Surviving are sisters Mrs Mildred Anderson and Mrs Eva Olgaret Rausch and brothers Norvill Earl Velta Claude Say Joe Jones. Banks Funeral Home arranged and forwarded remains to Helena for shipment to Bertha.

Days of 49 Event Nets Lions Pool Funds
The Days of 49 event held Sept 30 and Oct 1 by the Chateau Lions Club netted 1285.69 to operate the Lions swimming pool next year. Participants raised 2025.62 gross with 739.93 expenses. Over 100 attended Lions Club Ladies Night with 26 guests helping. Ralph Ebert of Gulf Oil spoke on seismic work for oil developments in the area.

Collins Pioneer Henry Bremer Dies at 91 in Collins
Funeral services for Henry O Bremer 91 of Collins were held at the local Methodist church with Rev Grant S Moore. Burial followed at Sun River cemetery. He was born March 1 1864 in Redwing Minnesota and later joined the Klondike gold rush before settling in Montana and Collins with his wife Lena Wiegant Bremer and daughter Marguerite Revear among survivors.
