A heavy two day rain event soaked the area from Sunday afternoon through Tuesday morning. The fall rainfall aids plowing and soil conditioning for the next growing season and is seen as a regular benefit to local farmers.
Calcium phosphate tests to continue in Teton county
Dr. Welch from the State College of Bozeman will visit Teton county late this month to conduct livestock tests with calcium phosphate. Since spring, treated cattle on four ranches including C. W. Gray and Jas. Peebles have shown marked improvement as stock readily eat the supplement. Further tests will include Tim Cook, Carl Malone, and Dry Forks ranches with feed and water analyzed at Bozeman Experimental Station.

Bing Hofto, longtime Dutton resident, died last Thursday at the poor farm. Funeral services were held Sunday in Dutton with burial in the Dutton cemetery. He was 65 and a native of Norway. His only U S relative is nephew K Hofto who lives near Dutton.
