A second well is spudded near Pendroy as Zodiac Oil Co brings in a portable rotary rig from the factory. The Pendroy structure may test Devonian on the high side of the fault with 3500 foot drilling and potential quick production in the Cut Bank sand or Madison lime.

He will join two Montana youths October 17 to 21 for the National Future Farmer convention in Kansas City. Meyer excelled in grain and stock judging, held class offices, and was salutatorian.

Billings Seeks Sheriff Bid On Independent Ticket
J I Billings files with County Clerk Geo A Carroll to run as an independent for sheriff in Teton county. Petitions from Chateau Dutton and Fairfield carry 175 signatures, over five percent of last election’s 1,423 votes, wiring a possible ballot spot though some names may be invalid after verification. Billings has long served in Brady and Pondera county, and previously held roles with the Blackfeet agency and as Teton undersheriff before becoming sheriff in 1932.

Mrs Rudolph passes away at 80 in Teton County
Christine Rudolph 80 longtime Teton county resident died last Thursday at the home of Mr and Mrs John Brossma due to infirmities of age. Born in Germany July 25 1858 she emigrated 73 years ago. Survived by son Philip Rudolph of Spokane and several grandchildren. Funeral held Saturday at St Luke’s church with Revs Morony Schulte and McGowan officiating. Interment in Choteau cemetery.
