Choteau Park Plans Skyward As Lions and Chamber Meet
Bob Armstrong of the Lions Club park committee outlined long range plans for Choteau city park and camping area at the chamber of commerce gathering. The group discussed park expansion, relocation of camping space, park cleanup, and tree planting efforts. A joint planning session between the chamber and Lions was proposed, and a committee will meet to finalize concrete plans. Al Hensley reported on moving the city garbage dump and urged council action. He announced two site options and invited chamber members to Helena for talks with the Montana Highway Commission on upgrading highway 287 to U S designation.
