Grain show to send samples to Chicago International Show
A grain and seed exhibit prize fund of 110 is to support a livestock train to be in town Wednesday October 17. Local donors and officials have added 60 to prize 10 for best spring wheat, plus multiple 5 and 2 50 prizes for various grain categories. Exhibits due by October 16 at the county agents office.

Will Open New Grocery Store in Choteau Soon
Oscar Joanis formerly of Choteau now of Shelby arranged for a new grocery store in Choteau. He secured the vacant building between the Electric Shop and the Post Tavern on First Street Northwest owned by George Coffey. The former paint shop space will be renovated and ready for occupancy within a month. The site once served as a post office when Byron Corson was postmaster. Joanis previously ran the Cash and Carry store in Choteau before moving to Shelby and investing in oil fields.
