Rites Held for Oscar Lietz 81 Power Resident
Funeral services were held at Zion Evangelical Lutheran church Power for Oscar C Lietz 81 who died last week at his home Burial took place in the church cemetery He was born in West Prussia Germany June 27 1860 and came to Minnesota at age 10 He moved to Montana homesteading near Power in 1914 He married Emilie Berndt December 25 1887 They celebrated their golden anniversary in 1937 Survivors include his widow five daughters a son and many grandchildren and great grandchildren.

National Defense Classes Meeting At School Tonight
A meeting of the National Defense classes board is set for Thursday evening at the high school agricultural building to plan upcoming courses.
